BEADS, CHARMS & FLOSS
Our Charms are made of pewter right here in Vermont. They are typically attached at the bottom of a hair wrap below beads. We carry over 20 different styles to choose from.

Each wrap comes with the option of adding 3 beads at no additional cost. We have lots of colors to choose from, even glow in the dark!

We use the highest quality 100% cotton floss on the market. Colors do not fade and swimming in pools will not harm your wrap.
HISTORY OF HAIR WRAPS
Weaving colorful threads into hair is a practice that dates back to ancient Egypt. During that time, women adorned their hair with ribbons, flowers, diadems and coronets. Beads were used to stabilize wigs. The wealthier Egyptians wove tubes of gold into each lock. The practice of hair wrapping grew popular in medieval Europe. . Hair wrapping encountered a Renaissance in the sixties with the hippy community on the beaches of California.

Over the past couple decades it has become universally popular, as a beautiful and long lasting hair ornamentation.

HAIR WRAP CARE

HAIR WRAPS
Each wrap is individually created just for you. You choose the style and colors. We offer two styles, Princess or Basic. All wraps start at the root of the hair and are wrapped as far down as the end. If you'd like, we can add beads and a charm onto the end of your wrap. Hair wraps make great vacation souvenirs.
•It is easy to brush your hair with a wrap. Simply move your wrap to the opposite side of your head when brushing. Do not brush the hair wrap.

•Shampoo and conditioner will not harm your wrap. Wash your hair as usual.

•The pool will not harm your wrap, however be careful when removing goggles as there is potential for the wrap to get pulled.

•The less you play with your wrap the longer it will last. Please refrain from pulling on it and twirling (helicoptering) your wrap. Don't chew on your wrap as you could bite off the knot that keeps it in.

• When you are ready to take your wrap out, simply cut off the knot at the bottom of your wrap and the rest will slide off. Your wrap was made to last, so it is wrapped very tightly around your hair, sometimes it takes a few minutes of working it down before it comes off.
